Things to do while you are here:

Walk on the Augusta Canal (at the flashing light turn onto Evans to Locks road ...left if leaving from our house).

Walk Riverwalk Downtown (by science museum).

Evans 12 movie theater.  From our house turn right on Evans to Locks road.   Take about 3.5 miles.  At industrial drive (PT's gas) turn left.  Cross Washington Rd. then on your left.

Visit Columbia Riverbanks Zoo.  About 75 minutes up I-20.

Fort Discover Science Museum.  Downtown on riverwalk (take riverwatch parkway downtown, follow signs).

Ice Skating and Roller Skating.

Bowling.

Golf, Jones Creek, West Lake (both very close).

Visit Clarks Hill lake.  Take Evans to Locks Rd. to Fury's Ferry.  Turn right (away from town..west).  Go about 10 miles, into S.C.  Turn left at hw220 this will cross a damn back into GA.  About 1 mile after damn is entrance to lake springs.   Total driving time just over 20 minutes.

Fast Food and many other restaurants located on Washington Rd throughout.

Domino's, Pappa John's

Chinese (China Hut?)

Grocery Shopping:
Take Evans to Locks to the end of the road, continue just to the right on Washington.   Kroger on your right.  Others slightly closer...take Evans To Locks, at Fury's Ferry Rd turn left.  Bi-Lo on your right in about a mile, Publix on left a little further down.
