Week 7 (Oct. 2)

HW problems 12.3, 12.14

and 13.2 and 13.8.

Due date.  Lets see where we get with things coming up.

Test Thursday in lab this week ch. 1-5.  Plus any lab materials.  You get a one page one side handwritten 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of anything you want.  You will be allowed to select two problems that you can take home.  Your choice, but due the next day. 

We are working in ch. 11 which I will go over in detail, but also consider review.  Lots more wave optics to come.  The good stuff.

Following the test (a week later) I'll set up a new lab. 

I may/will insert some lessons on polarization that will not be out of the text---I may refer to some much later sections.
