In example 5.6 the B field was found on axis.  Now set up expressions for the cartesian coordinates of the B field vector for a generic off axis point.  For Each of the set ups use cylindrical coordinates to describe the position of the point.  Evaluate the result for the x component of the B field when your point is in the yz plane explicitly.
